Cachoeirinha waterfall
A small waterfall about 4 meters high, with a shallow, crystal-clear natural pool. Perfect for families with children.
Lençóis River
The Lençóis River is known for its refreshing waters and natural pools formed between the rocks. Surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Chapada Diamantina, it’s the perfect place to relax, go for a swim, and enjoy nature just a short distance from Lençóis.
Piscina Natural
The Serrano natural pools were formed over time by the flow of the Lençóis River across the surrounding conglomerate rock. The constant movement of the water and natural weathering gradually eroded the rock, creating smooth natural basins known locally as caldeirões or marmitas. Today, these basins fill with river water, forming natural pools that are perfect for swimming and relaxing.
Salão das Areias coloridas
A former mining area where the movement of the rocks revealed natural sands in shades of **pink, white, red, green, yellow, and lilac**. Today, the sands are protected and may not be removed from the site.
Poço Haley
A natural pool, perfect for swimming, whose name refers to the passage of Halley’s Comet across the skies of the region; the site also features an unusual reddish rock formation.
