Between Waters and Mountains

A full-day tour through the open landscapes and striking rock formations of Chapada Diamantina. The itinerary combines the crystal-clear waters of Águas Claras with views of the Três Irmãos, including Morro do Camelo and the other two peaks that make up the formation.

Águas Claras

After a 27 km drive from Lençóis, we continue toward Águas Claras, located near Morro do Pai Inácio. The area is known for its crystal-clear natural pool, fed by water flowing down from the surrounding mountains. It is also one of the sources of the Mucugezinho River and makes for a beautiful full-day excursion.

Três Irmãos

The hike is approximately 16 km round trip and offers beautiful views of the Três Irmãos rock formations, including Morro do Camelo and the surrounding peaks.

Águas Claras

Located at the foot of Morrão, Águas Claras is made up of small natural pools and crystal-clear streams, perfect for a refreshing break and a swim during the hike. The trail passes through open landscapes with sweeping views of some of Chapada Diamantina’s most striking rock formations.

Morrão

Morrão is one of the most impressive rock formations in Chapada Diamantina and dominates the landscape around Águas Claras. The natural pools of Águas Claras lie right at its foot, offering a spectacular view of the mountain while you stop for a swim.
