The tour begins in the morning at Gruta da Lapa Doce in Iraquara, one of the areas with the highest concentration of caves in Chapada Diamantina.

Fazenda Pratinha & Azul Cave

In the afternoon, we continue to Fazenda Pratinha, a true oasis in the backcountry, with crystal-clear waters and activities such as floating, zip-lining, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and underwater photography. What to bring to Lapa Doce Cave and Pratinha

Fazenda Pratinha

After visiting Lapa Doce Cave, we continue to Fazenda Pratinha, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Pratinha River. There is time to swim, relax and enjoy the scenery surrounded by vegetation and limestone formations. Optional activities such as floating, ziplining, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and underwater photography may be booked separately at Fazenda Pratinha, depending on availability and local conditions.

The Blue Cave (Gruta Azul), located in the same area, is known for the intense blue tones of its water and the contrast between natural sunlight and the surrounding rock formations. The visit offers an opportunity to admire and photograph this unique natural setting.

Lapa Doce Cave

Located near Iraquara, Lapa Doce Cave is one of the best-known caves in Chapada Diamantina. During the visit, we explore spacious underground chambers featuring stalactites, stalagmites, curtains and other impressive limestone formations. Inside the cave, the atmosphere is completely different from the open landscapes of Chapada Diamantina, with vast underground spaces, silence and fascinating geological formations.

Stalactites and stalagmites

During the walk through Lapa Doce Cave, you can observe the natural formations that make the cave so distinctive. Stalactites grow downward from the ceiling, while stalagmites form upward from the cave floor. Together they create remarkable shapes throughout the underground chambers.
